What's That Small Pitter~pat?

This is one of my all time favorite Sesame Street Videos from the late 60's. It's just precious, I hope you will enjoy it!

In other news, I have been sewing like mad, there seems to be a bloomer trend in my town, and it's all my fault!
Today is the first day of school for Little Rita, who is now in the 6th grade, which is officially jr high, or middle school as some of us call it.
School has already started for Mr Ratburn, so you know what that means! Yes, it's true, I am alone once again... just me and the cat.
If you hear some snorin' coming from the yurt, it's just me recuperating after a long busy summer!

All together now....AWWWWWWWWW!!

Lucy Liu and Cameron Diaz.

They were so cute.

I hear the cats are dead, though. And that's a bit sad. Don't ya think?

I love that. My favorite Sesame Street one is where a bunch of dots are lined up and one dot gets old. The dot goes off and dies and is replaced by a baby dot all bouncy and out of place with the other dots. Somehow that just tickles me and also it shows life in a very easy to take way.

Somehow mine seems insignificant to yours.

I would wake you up but you look cute when you are taking a cat nap. Sleep well and enjoy the me time.

OMG--I loved this one too!
And also, Me and My M.
And the one about Me and My Llama...going to the dentist...
but my all time fave is Ernie's "I don't want to live on the moon." I sing it to my chilis all the time.
And I just wrote a post about Sesame Street a few days ago.
Susie, you rock! :)

ohmiGOD, I remember that!!! I mean, as it was playing I remembered the plates, and how I thought she would put them over her eyes! And I knew the cats were coming in!!! Oh man, I don't think I've seen or heard that for like 35 years, yet it all cames back!

Weird....

HUGS...
