Happy New Year 2012 & Finale HNT

Hello everyone! Happy New Year! Allow me to introduce myself, it's me, Susie. I am one of the "old HNTers". I haven't HNT'd in years! I'm back to say thank you OS for a boatload of fun, I really mean it! HNT was always my favorite part of the blogging week!

Now, I really gotta get busy here, because well......

....to be frank, I am right in the middle of packing for India.
You know, bubble wrap is very important when you have to pack a lot of stuff....

... but sometimes can be so gosh darned awkward!

I never travel without it.

I go to India every year for practically a month, ya know, and I take this packing seriously! Besides, I've got a lot of fragile stuff to take with me this year...

Happy New Year HNT!

So, back in the day I couldn't wait for Thursday so I could post this weeks HNT blog creation. Then Thursday gave way to Wednesday night, when Os had to put a 9 pm deadline on posting the IM UP message on his blog. It was really cool to be able to share the creativity, to link to other bloggers, to get to know other HNTers. We really had a good time, and I have made some permanent friends from the experience.
If you want to check out some of my old HNT's they are on the sidebar over there. Expect zaniness, not mega sexy, ok? Go ahead and take a peek, it'll be fun, I promise.
Finally thank you Scott, for supporting years of togetherness, 2D style!
Whoever thunk it?
So, if you are reading this around New Years, I am in India right now. I will be sure to have an ice cold Kingfisher on the beach for you, after my dip in the Arabian Sea!
Happy Half Nekkid Thursday forever!

Ah Sweet Dancer

The girl goes dancing there
On the leaf-sown, new-mown, smooth
Grass plot of the garden;
Escaped from bitter youth,
Escaped out of her crowd,
Or out of her black cloud.
Ah, dancer, ah, sweet dancer!

If strange men come from the house
To lead her away, do not say
That she is happy being crazy;
Lead them gently astray;
Let her finish her dance,
Let her finish her dance.
Ah, dancer, ah, sweet dancer!
