Schools Out, For The Summer!!!!

Little Rita is off to high school!

This proud mom would like you to notice the gold ribbon with bronze medal which means she is an honor graduate, woo hoo yes I am proud! Little Rita also received a citizenship award, and a presidential academic award signed by President Obama. Way to go, kiddo!
Hey I am allowed to brag, I am the mom.
And by the way, she is wearing heels so I am not that much shorter than her, yet.
So, here we are, another summer on the way. Thing is, we haven't had much sun as of yet. In fact, it is still raining in Northern California, which is quite odd for June. I blame the mighty volcano. In fact, it was completely humid today which is so strange for the west coast, I was sweating my ass off all day, and no, it wasn't hot flashes.
Hope all is well in blogland, and please see below for the cutest Soul Sister ever!
Have A Lovely Day!

What a beautiful child!!
You deserve to brag and be as proud as you like.
But it's so obvious where she gets her beauty and brains and GLOWING charm from...

*applause* for your Lovely Rita. Thank you for popping by my travel blog. And I think it's so awesome you travel to India every year, and you are not Indian. So now you know how I feel about that big beautiful country.
BTW, I did travel there for the first time back in 2007. I had to go solo because no one else wanted to go there. It was only for 9 days. Now I am truly excited by my impending 5-week journey! Hope you will check back.

You all looks great and happy and for all the good reasons I can think of!

Happy weekend to you all :-)

Btw dear blog friend: Sorry for being absent for a while. Of course I could have written a lot of excuses, but I guess the most important is to assure you I haven't forgot you (and do appreciate all you're nice comments on mine)!
