Tim Lincecum has had goofy, otherworldly games.
He was 97 mph with movement. You just don't see that every day.
Giants ace Tim Lincecum struck out 14 in a dominant NLDS debut against the Braves.
Get em Giants!
I noticed today that Lincecums number was 55. Cool~ and lately I have noticed that the Giants look like a bunch of freaks compared to other baseball teams. And you probably noticed that I know nothing about sports talk. These are all quotes that I heard during the game or on the computer. What a bullshitter I am for 55 today. Does it still count, Gman?
Have a great day.

As long as #55 gets the job done who cares about style. The Giants are on a streak - hopefully it's good enough - we've been patiently waiting
Nice 55 my dear - Go SF

You are my mentor!

Thanks for playing, You Rock from Merced to Mumbai, and all points in between.
Have a Kick Ass Week-End...G
smiles. best of luck to the Giants...fun 55.
Counts for me!
as long as he has the 55 on his back...
I was visiting San Francisco this past weekend and everything seemed to be about the Giants and The Padres (lots of booing for them and the Dodgers on the cable car), and the breast cancer walk. I know too little about sports too -- but I love that SF has such a variety of fans. Great 55!
I remember when Nolan Ryan throwing his fastball over 100 m.p.h. was astonishing - nobody else could do that!
These days, pitchers who can thow a fastball 100 m.p.h. are less rare. Throwing 97 m.p.h. is a little over the average MLB fastball speed of 88-92 m.p.h.
(My recorded best was 56 m.p.h. - that wouldn't even get me in the door!)
