Once in awhile you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

How did you spend your New Years Eve? We went over to some friends house and played some silly games involving chocolate and beer. (It's 10:45 am, I just woke up! I think this is the latest i've slept in about 10 years.) Tell me what you did last night!
We did nothing. We watched Lonesome Dove and Mrs. Pirate went to bed around 8. I sat up watching Dick Clark and feel asleep before the ball dropped. we sleep in til 9.
All the kids were staying at other people's houses. So we took advantage of the situation and lounged all morning.
new year's eve we went toa friend's house, friends with 5 little kids, lol. played games and watched football. today, new years, we went to a different friend's house, stuffed ourselves to the gills and watched MORE football. i am officially declaring my football quota filled for 2006!
We went over to a friend's house, there were 6 adults, 7 kids and enough noise to qualify as sound pollution. We had a fabulous time, played games and ate ridiculous quantities of food, (and some homemade Bailey's that is TOO fabulous!) we watched the ball at 9PM and the Seattle Space Needle at 12, then did fireworks. It was a great way to bring in the new year!

I wish I could have slept in late. That's awsome.
