Standing in Shakuntulas kitchen, learning how to make dosas....so different from our kitchens, totally black, the appliances, the floor. Maybe the walls were white...no frilly curtains, no rooster shaped cookie jar..... sorta looked like "clear everything flammable out of the way! Shaku is cooking!"
Shaku's dosas, like pancakes on Saturday morning, only better.

LOL, I know Lily! Isn't it funny how tall and skinny I look! Of course, I am standing on the stairs, and, I had been in India for a week, had about 300 calories for the entire time.....I was pretty skinny!!
