Amanita Muscaria loves our orchard!
Warning, do NOT eat! (hee hee)
Our neighbors barn, the geese and the aengus.
Well um ya see it's like this: When a deer gets struck by a car out on the highway, our neighbors pick it up and put it in our orchard for the turkey vultures to eat. Ok, I know it's gross, but, can you think of a better thing to do with a deer corpse? We are waiting for the skull to erm, come loose so we can hang it on our outside hallway. Ewww~ (Outside hallway, what? Our house has a large open hallway, rain, frost and all we have to endure in order to get to the other part of the house. Ok, that's another story entirely.)
Shadow dancing!
I have been told that I am outstanding in my field!
Wow, it's true! Here I am, out standing in my field!
(Oh Logo, looky! It's a pair of my best selling Urban Prairie Girl pants! It's about time I showed you, huh? This pair has pumpkins on it, are you at all surprised?)
Hope you all had a lovely Thanksgiving and hey, we've still got 3 more days before Monday, hurray! Enjoy it!

Happy Post Turkey Day! We're having a movie extravaganza weekend. We took our Moms to see Stranger Than Fiction yesterday afternoon. Then after our turkey feast with all of the fixings we watched All About Eve - that 1950's Bette Davis classic. Today we giggled through A Death Becomes Her, and tomorrow we're heading out to see Fast Food Nation and the documentary about the Dixie Chics. Who knows what we will parttake in on Sunday for our viewing pleasure? Have you enjoyed any films lately?
fun stuff! oh and a tip....get that skull asap because the micies like to eat the antlers ;) then yo ucan boil the skull to clean it off
glad you had a terrific day!
Happy Turkey Day
cool pix
Lime... Susie...
-you know what? Mountain girls know some freaky stuff...
(boil the skull???)
-What's fun (in california,) is to walk up next to a vegan, chomping on some huge burger, and yell 'I win, I win, thank God for Incisors...'
(...Note: do not do this in the mall.)
-Sus... those boots are YOU kid...
So you pull the skull? What happens with the skin? And the tendons? Do you sorta hack at them with a knofe, does it have to be a real sharp knife? Or can it be kinda dull and rusty like? Do you wear a mask because of the smell? And what happens if there's all...like...liquid goo an' stuff what comes out as you're pulling?
Just thought I'd ask :o)
Lmao @ Alistair...you'd better ask Lime..she knows about this deer head stuff!
I love the pic of you in the field too, but that stuff about the deer, really made this quite unpleasant. Then Lime chimed in with boil the skull, and............. ewwwwwwwwww............
