More pics from trip to LA last weekend!
I lived on this walk street in Venice from 1980 to 1991. We like to take a stroll up the walk everytime we come to Venice, have a chat with whoever might still be hanging around, and admire our initials that we carved in the sidewalk too many years ago.Did I ever think I would be returning here one day with my daughter?
HELL, YES!
And here I am dipping my toes in the Santa Monica Bay. Did I go swimming? Nope. Too dirty. But Mr. Ratburn went swimming....perhaps that explains the funny green growths he's acquired since that dip!

When I was in LA for an extended weekend oh so many years ago I tried to make it out to the water but it was just not meant to be. No swimming but I am sure there were have been some nice scenery. Hey, I am single. I can look.
