The lion crept closer to her, smelling her sweet breath hanging in the morning air. "Shall I bite her" thought the hungry lion. She seemed to be dreaming so sweetly, about a mandolin perhaps. Or whatever instrument that is. Suddenly he was distracted by a child in the distance. "ooh, a child, so much tastier."

And all she could think about while that beast was nibbling on her ear was, "did I buy milk? Oh, and eggs, we're definately going to need eggs this weekend." His breath was hot on her ears and after that first bite, he spoke those oh so familiar words, "tastes like chicken."
OK, If I don't get back here to write a 55 about this painting, why don't you write it instead? As you can see, I've already stolen Amber and Le chat's 55's.......shameless, I tell you!

She was as lazy as a tiger on a hot, dripping, monsoon day. Shamelessly, she lounged about, as the jungle simmered without her.
One by one, throughout the humid unrelenting day, the stories came. She had only to lie there and be told she tastes like chicken, or that a child would be better prey...

Very well done, Chat and Amber..the rest of you are lazy sods! Especially those lazy writer types who shall hereby be challenged...
But then so am I a lazy sod!...I'll get around to it, just not right now...
It all tastes like chicken..those are the parts the computer got wrong...
Good 55s everyone!
Exhausted, she fell. She could run no more. She lived for her music. Some said she should die for it. They dubbed her witch, called for her head. She was born with the feral heart. She was safe in the wild. The animals bowed to her song, her will. The mighty king would protect her.
Wow James, you and coffee, a good match! Thanks for rising to the challenge!
she was exhausted. she so needed a good night's sleep. after her last gig she passed out under the stars. she knew she'd be one someday, in spite of what her husband said. in her dreams she heard him snore. sleepily she kicked his leg hard and growled, 'TURN OVER!' a confused lion padded off in shock.
No one else understood, of course, it was incomprehensible even to them. Her music drew him like nothing ever had, and she felt his wild heart inside her. He knew better than to trust a human, and she knew this massive carnivore was not safe. And yet their kindred souls reached out to each other.
You used mine, I feel so honored.

Nina could no longer tollerate the ignorance and brutality of her small town's mayor, Jorge Wush; so she packed her most precious possession, her father's guitar, and set off with her most loyal companion, William the Lion. Together hey walked into the wilderness--without fear, without anger; with only the promise of a better life to guide them.
This is fun... I'm going to play when I get back.
Take it easy, Susie, and behave yourself while I'm away x
Oohh oohh very good y'all!!!! I think this might be one of my favorite 55's yet!
"Do you love me?" she whispered when she felt his hot breath on her neck. He purred in her ear "I do not". She closed her eyes to hold back the tears. "Will you be here in the morning?" she finally whispered again. "Yes. I'll be here." She sighed. "Unfortunately", he continued, "you will not."
