Oh nice 55! I hope you don't mind but I will probably be going through your archives a bit in the next week because my 11yr old daughter and her Girl Scout troop have chose India as their theme for their upcoming "Around the World" festival thingy. Each troop has to research the culture of their chosen place and kind of bring it to life. My daughter has always been fascinated with India and I showed her some of your pics from your trip and she was in awe. With all that being said , if you ever need a small partner to go to India with you , call me because I have someone that would love to go !

oh that was wonderful, susie! really beautiful. and i love the mendhi. i've always wanted to get some myself, i'm not about the permanent tattoos but mendhi looks like fun.

That's pretty cool, though I don't think I'd want that done as a perminent tattoo, is a bit too obtrusive for my tastes. Temporary though, is fun.

Love the henna. Why'd ya stop at the elbows? I spent the entire day with my Mother-in-law today and it's like spending the day with a three year-old in many ways. So many questions - it can be exhausting. Here's my 55 for today:
Have I eaten any breakfast? Getting dressed to go out. My it's so cold. Where are we going, again? Errands are run and we're checking off the long list. Is it time to eat lunch yet. Synapses misfiring as time marches forth. How long will it be till I don't recognize myself in the mirror?
