Beedi Factory, Mysore 2003

Time for the India countdown.
That's right, I am not going until February this time so I have a little bit of a wait still. But that doesn't mean I am not exciteddddd already!!!!!!!!!! I can barely stand it. Poor Mr Ratburn, the India bug has bitten him as well, leaving him incredibly envious. I really wish he could come with me again, but the $, oy, and then there is Little Rita, still not ready to go to India with us. So where traditionally I would attach my India counter when I have 55 days left, this time I cannot wait. Here we go, the countdown has begun, woo hoo!

Oh yes, the Ratburn's hit India. Now that day will be something to look forward too.

Wow I look forward to this almost as much as you. The last few times I kind of red a little here and there. This time, as long as you are able to post, I look for ward to following you exploits. I only hope it is a little less exciting this time. Oh and don't go stealing one of those rikshaws now. I don't know how we would bail you out.

But now that is 3 months off. That is like forever. The holidays will help it go faster I think.

Oh I am soooo envious.

If you see a hard edged chick carrying around a hamsiya, you might want to talk nice. *wink*

Where are you headed?

Thank you for the info Susie. I knew Santa Rosa had statues for Shultz but I did not know your town did too. It makes sense from what I read. Some day I will make that treck to Santa Rosa.

The flag pole was something I wanted as soon as I got a home. The best part about it? It comes apart in sections. I can take most of it down to where the pole is short then you. It makes it easier to repair things or clean it. So yes, I have a sectional pfp.

I want you to know the Beedi song from Omkara has been stuck in my head ever since I saw this post this afternoon.

And my current 55 series is supposed to be intense. After all, my heroine isn't the type to whack a guy and leave him for the hyenas without a lot of provocation!

There are some pretty dark corners here I'm trying to shine a flashlight into. Or maybe poke with a stick, I dunno... but that sorta requires "intensity".

Besides, the public demanded it, so how could I refuse?
