55 Fridays Flash Fiction



She walked down the noisy corridor toward the cafeteria, clutching tightly the neon green handle of her new lunch bag, orange with black leopard print flannel. She thought about the red shiny apple in her bag, and how she would trade it today with Lacey for two of those yummy cookies her mom always made.


Seems like a bit of April Foolery has struck our friends over at Sepia Mutiny! Well, I sure hope it's a joke!
