Today my Little Rita got braces on her top teeth. Although she is only 10, which is a little early for braces, Little Rita has polynumerals. That means that some of her teeth have twins. So, after a couple years of pulling extras, waiting for the other extras, pulling them...finally we've gotten to the right amount of teeth. Unfortunately, they did not all end up in the right places, so that's why braces now. (Yes, BTW, we do have dental insurance.) You look marvelous Little Rita! Let's go over and see what your daddy is up to...

aww poor thing, i bet her mouth is quite ouchie right now. in a couple of days she will feel better. in the meantime i hope she enjoys milkshakes!

I had a nephew with braces who wouldn't speak without a hand over his mouth. She seems much happier about it and that's good. Happy HNT
Thank GOD for insurance! I had braces in the 4th grade, that would make me about 10, so she's about as old as I was.
Hated the retainer, though....
