Wow!
Little Rita, lookit what I got at the Rite Aid today just for us me!
Wow mom, thanks! Just what we've I've been wanting lately!
Hmnn, do you think
Well now wait just one second here mom, let's just establish whose crayons these are! I am the kid, afterall.
Cuz you gotta admit, they are worth fighting over. Notice that Little Rita has put these crayons in color order before I could get the shot of how they come when you buy them...took her about 5 minutes before she dumped them out and rearranged them!
Shhhh! I think it's clear who owns this box!
And here we have my favorite color. It's in the orange group of course....Macaroni and cheese, macarrones con queso, macaroni au fromage!!
Have a lovely day!

ooooh lil rita i am soooo proud of you for arranging the crayons properly! what a good girl you are!
and that array of all those fresh points...what a thing of beauty.
i think you both need to come visit me so i can take you to the crayola factory. you will LOVE it!
oh and missy..the smell of crayola crayons is a very special one and actually makes i think the top ten list of favorite childhood smells (i think i read that somewhere)
:O What? Lime lives by the crayon factory? :O We are so visiting....besides, Rufus likes to play in your town as well!
:P
Susie! That's your most 'colorful' post by far! LOL!
Definitely a moment to be savored … new crayons in all those colors!!! WHEEE … (fun photo series).
Hugs and blessings,
I know it: your both so colourful!
Btw: We had macaroni and cheese today - not typical Norwegian, but I'm married to an American you know :-)
Now I love my camera, I enjoy visiting with friends, but I really love, love, love that smell of a new box of crayons and to make it the 96 count set, I am in heaven. I don't blame you two about the fight.
I found this wonderful page that tells you the history of colors and even shows the all the colors. I think Mac and Cheese came about in 93 or 94. I see there is an Electric Lime too and some other neat colors.
Now you are going to make me drag out my crayons when I get home. I have them tucked away in my guest bedroom...
Mac and Cheese! Do they taste as good as they look?
LOL, she sure takes after you.
I loved getting a new box of crayons. Boy, the advances they've made at Crayola. I never had a box of 96. 64 was the biggest in the old days. I feel deprived now. :-(
I have a 96 count box of crayons here at work in case kids come and visit, but I open 'em up and smell 'em as a stress reliever.
Is that weird?
