Ha! I was playing around with the scanner last night and I found this silly picture of me in some parking lot in Los Angeles, taken around 1987. That's me in my typical Venice beach girl attire. (I did the 80's MY way!)
This picture also made me realize, that I have been doing that "cover the right eye with the hair thing" for a long long time!......Too funny! Click on it if you dare, for a good view of the trademark goofy Susie glare! Hey! I think I look like Adeleigh!

jeans and tshirts, baby. preferably tie dye. or weird ethnic sorts of stuff. i've never been a fashionista.
God, you look adorable. I don't even want to think about what I wore in my twenties, thanks. No, definitely not.
I was in my 20's inthe 80's so there were several looks I sported. 1)Annie Lennox peroxide red boy hair cut, with big shoulder jackets and white shoe boots. 2)Madonna Wanna-be bangles and lace hose with neon everything. And let's not forget the corporate look of 'Designing Women' with huge earings, wide belts and two-tone pumps. The only look I'd be willing to repeat is the lennox.
Cool. Black Flag badge on your denim jacket, super-cool. In the 8o's in my twenties it was a PsychicTV badge and a guiness beertowel on the back of my denim jacket. Listening to Throbbing GRISTLE, The Bhundu Boys and the Pogues. Hanging out at the Roadmenders in Northampton and Break for The Border and the Mean Fiddler in London.

When I was in my 20s, the decade was the '70s. Big, long skirts, tight, low-cut tops, big platform shoes . . .
In other words, pretty much the way I dress now!
Where'd we hang out? All sorts of dance clubs where we could pick up men . . . and the occasional woman!

I was actaully quite well dressed during most of my 20's then came 1997 - my black and white phase. I'm still in that one. I went out a lot more back then...sigh...
Jeans with the obligitory skoal ring on the pocket, T-shirt, cowboy hat and boots. Gos I was such a country fuck! Not that there's anything wrong with that. You on the other hand look spectacular! I was hanging out wherever there was a chance of picking up girls like you.
